Featuring Three Ex Southern Railway Locomotives
London Brighton & South Coast Railway
 'A1X' class 0-6-0 tank Terrier No 32670 (Built 1872)

Like the Beattie Well Tank this loco was built for
operating trains in and out of London

London & South Western Railway
 2-4-0 Beattie Well Tank No.30587

The oldest working loco in the National Collection. (Built 1874)

Based at Wadebridge and used on the Wenfordbridge branch
until the 1960s

On static display at Bodmin General Station will be
London & South Western Railway
T9 Class "Greyhound" Locomotive No 30120 built in 1899.

This loco last appeared in Cornwall in 1962 and regularly worked the North Cornwall route from Exeter to Padstow     more...


Also featuring two of our resident GWR locos - Pannier No 4612 & Prairie No 5552
